So yeah, Randy and I rode around on his scooter together looking for skate spots. As luck would have it, Stu called and the session was on. Stu and Randy haven't skated together in years. The only reason we ended up at the Logan Square park was so those two could battle it out in an epic game of mini-spine S.K.A.T.E.

Street skating in Chicago on the last day of summer. This one is short but sweet, and yes that's a Steely Dan song.

The best part about this day was that I put the GoPro on a six foot monopod. That explains all the shots of trees.

Hometown Heroes is a skateboard tour that I have been working with for the past few years. These dudes travel all over the country throwing contests. The winners all get a pass to skate in the finals, which are held at the X Games. It's pretty sick and these kids rip.

Anyways, this a look into what the tour is all about.
